Florida Man Photographed Carrying Pelosi’s Lectern At U.S. Capitol Riot Arrested

 

Adam Johnson, 36, of Parrish, Florida was quickly identified on social media by local residents as the man in a photo smiling as he walked through the Capitol rotunda carrying Pelosi’s lectern after a mob of President Donald Trump’s supporters stormed the nation’s Capitol is among the latest people charged in January 6, 2021 mayhem that left five people dead.

He was arrested Friday night on a federal warrant and was being held Saturday without bail in Pinellas County, Florida. He was charged with one count of knowingly entering or remaining in any restricted building or grounds without lawful authority, one count of theft of government property and one count of violent entry and disorderly conduct on Capitol grounds. 

Before that, Johnson also streamed live video on Facebook of himself as he walked the halls of the Capitol, but then the video has been removed from online platforms and all of Johnson’s pages have been taken down. After Adam Johnson was caught taking Nancy Pelosi's lectern in the Capitol riots, ads began to appear on eBay listing the item as "The authentic lectern of the Speaker of the House of Representatives" and the price was USD14,980.00 before it was removed from eBay.
