If you thought Japanese television had run out of ways to surprise you, think again! Let’s revisit a legendary segment from the show Kyo kara Yaru dake titled "Fulfilling Selfish Desires." This wasn't just about small favors; it was about transforming the most "eccentric" whims into reality with an almost sacred level of seriousness.

The story follows an elderly man who revealed a final life wish that would make most people choke on their tea: "To sleep on a pillow stuffed with the body hair of beautiful women." While it sounds like a crude joke or a weird movie plot, in Japan, this was treated as a noble quest.

The production team went all out, calling for volunteers to "donate" hair from various parts of their bodies—arms, legs, and even more private areas—to gather enough material for a single pillow. The most mind-blowing part wasn't the pillow itself, but the attitude of the women who participated. Instead of labeling the man a creep, they expressed "deep respect for his honesty regarding his own desires." They were so moved by his sincerity that they agreed to shave live on camera just to help him reach his "dreamland."
