UPDATE:

The groom explained his behavior as follows: “I could not restrain myself, and my hand flew. I apologized to the bride. It won't happen again," the man said. However, after the video, the groom was charged with petty hooliganism (Article 183 of the Code of Administrative Responsibility entails a fine and arrest for up to 15 days).

But the wife, who suffered from his punch, asked not to punish her husband. Relatives on her part also stated that they had no claims against their son-in-law. The girl's mother said that after an apology from the groom's relatives, the wedding continued, and now the young people live happily, so there is nothing to punish the son-in-law.

Taking into account the testimony of the young wife and relatives, the court canceled the punishment and held a “preventive conversation” with the bride and groom and their parents.
