The World’s First Polar Bear Hotel Has Opened In China

 

The world’s first “polar bear hotel” has opened in China’s far northeastern Heilongjiang province.

The hotel, which has 21 rooms, has offered guests that they will see polar bears at all times from their rooms. Photos and videos show people watching polar bears indoors enclosure featuring artificial ice and small pools. A Harbin Polarland spokeswoman, said that the indoor area is only a small part of the bear enclosure, and they let the bears out when temperature and air quality permit. 

Although Conservationists criticized the hotel saying the action was inhumane, this attraction has made all the hotel rooms fully booked during the trial period with prices ranging from 1,888 to 2,288 yuan ($ 290.10 to $ 351.56) per night.
