Comic Cafe In South Korea

Cafe Yeonnam-dong 239-20 was opened in the second half of 2017 and it was located on Yeonnam-dong district that makes visitors feel like they’ve entered into a cartoon or a comic world. At started the cafe capable of sitting around 20 people and the patrons could expect to wait a while for their orders, especially on busy days, as the cafe only had a staff of one, the owner.

The Cafe got its inspiration from Korean TV hit “W – Two Worlds” by Lee Jong-Suk and Han Hyo-Joo, in which the characters enter a fantasy webtoon world. From the walls and the floor, to the furniture and tableware, everything seems taken out of a comic, or a black and white cartoon.
