From June 14th to July 31st, 2025, fans of "Crayon Shin-chan" can put their olfactory senses to the ultimate test at the Nijigen no Mori's Crayon Shin-chan Adventure Park with the "Hiroshi's 10 Second Socks Challenge." This unique event, held at the "Ora no Hachamecha! Buri Buri House" museum, replicates the notoriously pungent aroma of Hiroshi Nohara's work socks, a gag familiar to anime viewers.

The challenge invites visitors to brave the infamous stench for a full 10 seconds. Successful participants will be rewarded with an exclusive "Hiroshi Nohara Limited Sticker," a testament to their enduring power of smell. This marks the only location where fans can genuinely experience the "smell" of Hiroshi's socks as depicted in the beloved series, offering an immersive dive into the world of "Crayon Shin-chan."

While the "Hiroshi's 10 Second Socks Challenge" itself is free, a separate admission ticket to the Crayon Shin-chan Adventure Park attraction is required to participate. The challenge is open to those holding various ticket types, including Premium, Gold Kids, and Kids Enjoyment Pass.

Crayon Shin-chan Adventure Park, located within Nijigen no Mori in Awaji Island, provides a comprehensive experience for fans of all ages. Beyond the smelly sock challenge, the park is adorned with Crayon Shin-chan statues and offers a variety of activities designed for both adults and children, allowing visitors to relive childhood memories and create new ones. It serves as a nostalgic and entertaining destination for the entire family.

Nijigen no Mori is open daily from 10:00 to 22:00, with individual attraction hours varying. The Crayon Shin-chan Adventure Park, specifically, operates from 10:00 to 17:00 during the event period. For those looking to brave Hiroshi's socks and explore the vibrant world of Crayon Shin-chan, advance reservations are available through the Nijigen no Mori website.
