For those who know the existence of this cinema in the desert, they call it "The End of World Cinema". Today, it consists of 150 worn-out seats, a broken screen base, and a dilapidated room that once housed a projector and the generator.

This project was the idea of a French man. The Frenchman looked around and thought why isn't there a cinema in the middle of the desert?. He flew back to Paris and gets the money. After that, he went to Cairo to buy chairs and projection equipment from old cinemas theater.

Then he returned to Sinai, set up an electricity generator and rented a powerful machine to raise the screen and prepare for the premiere. However, on the premiere night when the deserted cinema was supposed to be showing, the electricity was cut off.

No one still knows why the Frenchman was cut off the electricity. Later, there was speculation that the local authorities were not interested in the idea of building a cinema in the middle of the desert and that it was built without a permit on government land.

People who know this story believe that there was an accident with the generator or the generator was sabotaged, which disrupted the opening night. Until now, there has not been a single film shown here that night, or any other night.
