Her young brother ran to get help to save the girl and when help came, there were two guys trying to pull her off the edge of the escalator.

The guy in the clip tells the local media saying the current situation was very dangerous and he didn't think about it, just wanted to save the girl from falling. So he put his hand between the girl legs to prevent her from falling and make it easier to support her.
