The Wife Realizes Her Husband Is A Woman After 10 Months Of Marriage

A woman age 22 from Jambi, NA (not real named) admitted to being a victim of same-sex marriage fraud from an Ahnaf Arafif (real name: Erayani). The two began knowing each other through a matchmaking application. Ahnaf claimed to be a convert to Muslim who previously had the baptismal name Petrus Gilbert Arrafif.

In the short relationship, Erayani a woman who pretends to be a man, immediately wants to propose to her by visiting NA's house. She also claimed to be a doctor and a businessman. Erayani who never showed his identity such as an ID card and claimed that his ID was taken by the authorities after convert his religion without knowing when she could get it back.

The day of the proposal, Erayani and his family did not come and all these preparations used NA's mother's money. The absence of Erayani and his family was allegedly due to Erayani's mother passing away due to Covid-19. After three days of the death of Ahnaf Arrafif's mother, she returned to Jambi and held an unregistered marriage with NA on July 18, 2022.

After marriage, Erayani often asked NA and his mother for money for 6 months with the excuse to treat NA father. Reportedly, she's has lost more than 300 million rupiah ($20 thousand dollar). NA mother seeing his son in law didn't work, never meet his family and suspect he is a woman, making she keep asking Erayani to show his ID card.

After the incident, the next day Erayani invited NA to go to Lahat to taking ID cards and other identities. Arriving in the husband's hometown, NA met with Erayani's family. Since then, NA began to be locked in a room without being allowed to interact with his and her family and the outsider for 4 months.

NA disappearance made NA's mother lodge a police report. NA’s mother finally found NA in Lahat after months of searching. Police then ordered Eriyani to confess and take off her clothes. At that time, NA just realized that her husband for 10 months was a woman.

NA admitted that during their marriage, they had a sex like husband and wife. However, she was not allowed to see the Erayani's genitals. All this time, NA's eyes are always covered with a long cloth during intercourse and the lights are turned off.

The case also went to court and Erayani is now being held in a woman's cell and will be charged under Article 93 in conjunction with Article 28 paragraph (7) of Law No. 12 of 2012 concerning Higher Education with a maximum 10 years in prison and/or a maximum fine of Rp.1 million.
