The robot will come in the form of a crane train and the upper body of the construction robot is attached with mechanical arms and it looks like a robot in Japanese anime. The upper part of the robot will be controlled via a VR system by staff sitting inside the vehicle.

The main function of this robot is that it can reduce dangerous work such as changing high voltage wires, demolishing trees near railway tracks or repairing railway tracks. JR West believes the development of this robot will not only reduce the risk of accidents during operation, but it will also reduce the maintenance power required to maintain the railways by up to one-third.
