An Old Man Buys A New Car Using Coins He Save In 170 Bags

 

A car salesman in a showroom in Linyi, Shandong Province, China was shocked when a customer came to buy a car in cash by paying using coins.

According to them, an old man entered a car dealership and informed the staff that he wanted to buy a car worth 130,000 yuan ($20,432), and wanted to pay in cash, which made the salesman happy, but then everyone was stunned when they saw his money was coins kept inside 170 bags. 

The old man carried the money using a small truck and carried the coin in front of the car dealer to be counted. The workers counted carefully, but after a while they felt that they could not count them all, so they decided to send it to the bank to help count the coins.

Upon arriving at the bank, the bank could only count 400 yuan ($62) that day, which took 3 hours and the bank had to stop counting because the bank staff had responsibility for other customers. 

Finally, after taking two days to count all 170 bags of coins with 500 yuan ($78) and 1,000 yuan ($157) per sack. The total is 130,000 yuan ($20,432) and the new cars belongs to that old man. The car dealer manager said this customer is a convenience store owner who likes to save coins in bags.
