Dramatic Footage Shows Bear Chasing Skiers In Romania, Again..

At the Predeal ski resort in Romania, a young bear is not afraid to approach a group of skiers. Ski instructor Adrian Stoica had to distract the bear itself.

On March 9, after breakfast, the skiers head to the track. Some of them brought sandwiches, and the smell of the food seemed to make the bear come out of the forest. Members of the group tried to scare the bear with screams, but this did not help. The bear started to step a few meters away from Stoica and behaved quite politely, while watching the skiers for dinner.

At first, Stoica stood fending off the bear using a ski pole, but after a few minutes he decided to take the bear with him to ensure the safety of the skiers. As soon as he turned around, the bear immediately chased him.

Stoica does not speed up on purpose and keeps the bear a few meters away from him at all times, and keeping the bear are eager to hunt him alone. However, a few minutes later, after chasing him more than a kilometer, the bear got tired and returned back to the forest.

Romanian Environment Minister Barna Tánczos called Stoica action heroic, but imprudent, because this chase would be fatal if the skier stumbled and fell.

Maybe this bear is the same bear that chased skiers in my previous post? Hmm..
