Kiss Gene Simmons' Extreme VIP Package $12,495 Will Rock You!

Gene Simmons, the iconic bassist and co-founder of Kiss, is making headlines with his latest venture: the "Ultimate Experience." For a cool $12,495, one lucky fan per show on his upcoming solo tour can live the rock and roll dream, shadowing Simmons as a personal assistant and roadie for a day.

The package, detailed in a recent interview with the New York Post, offers a unique, behind-the-scenes glimpse into the life of a rock legend. Fans will get to meet Simmons at his hotel, share breakfast, and travel with him to the gig. They'll even have the opportunity to participate in setting up the stage, handling amplifiers and drums, and filming the concert from an exclusive onstage position. The highlight? A chance to join Simmons onstage for a song, alongside a signed bass guitar.

Simmons explained that the idea stems from his childhood fascination with seeing his favorite performers live, aiming to recreate that experience for his fans. "You meet at the hotel where you have breakfast together or, you know, whatever floats your boat," he stated. "You ride with me to the gig. You can set up amplifiers and drums to your heart’s content. You’re onstage, right offstage to my right. You can video the crowds, whatever. And I pull you onstage to sing a song with me."

However, the exorbitant price tag has sparked a wave of reactions, with some questioning the value proposition. The situation has also drawn comparisons to JoJo Siwa's recently announced $900 VIP package, which also offers a behind-the-scenes crew experience.

Adding to the discourse, comedian John Mulaney, during a recent episode of "Everybody's Live," offered his perspective on Kiss's approach to their career. "Kiss fascinates me because it was so much more about the money than the music. I think that’s genuinely interesting. Few artists say that, ‘We were such good marketers.’”
